About the React-AF Study

The REACT-AF study is a clinical research study for people with a history of non-permanent atrial fibrillation (AFib) and low-to-moderate stroke risk.

Sponsored by Johns Hopkins University and supported by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) in collaboration with Northwestern University, the study is being conducted at research centers across the United States.

Who This Study May Be For

  • Adults ages 22–85
  • People who currently receive care from a participating study site
  • People with a history of non-permanent atrial fibrillation (AFib)
  • People currently taking a DOAC blood thinner
  • People with an iPhone 11 or higher or iPhone SE
  • People willing to wear an Apple watch at least 14 hours each day
